About Devops with GCP
Learn DevOps on Google Cloud from the ground up
Learn to buildtestdeployscalebuild software the cloud-native way
Work with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and core Google Cloud services. Build real CI/CD pipelines that run on GCP.
The route from commit to production
Watch the route draw itself: this is the delivery path you will build and automate.
Code
Developers push changes to a Git repository.
Git · GitHubBuild
Pipelines compile, test and package the app.
Cloud BuildPackage
Container images are stored and versioned.
Artifact RegistryDeploy
Apps roll out to Google Cloud with code.
GKE · Cloud RunObserve
Logs, metrics and alerts keep releases healthy.
Cloud MonitoringSkills for cloud-native teams
Teams building containers and data-driven apps look for engineers who can release fast and keep systems reliable.
Automate every release
Turn each code change into a tested, packaged and deployed release with Cloud Build, so shipping becomes routine instead of risky.
Infrastructure as code
Create Google Cloud resources from files you can review and reuse.
Kubernetes first
Run containers on GKE, a popular managed way to use Kubernetes.
Serverless options
Deploy services to Cloud Run without managing servers.
Monitor and respond
Logs, metrics and alerts help you find problems early.
Dev and Ops together
Understand both sides, so teams hand off less and ship more.
Cost aware
Learn to size and clean up resources so cloud bills stay under control.
Six modules from zero to production
Each module ends with a lab you can run, show and explain.

Questions people ask
Do I need coding experience?
No. The course starts with Linux and scripting basics and builds up step by step.
What is the difference between DevOps and cloud computing?
Cloud computing provides the infrastructure, while DevOps is the way teams automate building, testing and releasing software on it. This course covers both.
Why learn DevOps on Google Cloud?
Kubernetes grew out of work at Google, and GCP is popular for container, data and analytics workloads. The core DevOps ideas also carry over to other clouds.
Will this help me prepare for Google Cloud certification?
Yes. The labs cover many core Google Cloud and DevOps topics, and you can build on them with extra exam practice.
Will I do hands-on projects?
Yes. You build pipelines, containers and cloud infrastructure that you can show in your portfolio.
Do GCP labs cost money?
Many labs fit within free-tier limits or trial credits for new accounts, and you will learn to clean up resources so charges stay low.
